[Cecil can seen, standing in the middle of a Pokémart. A Pokémart that is not Violet's. He's supposed to be in Violet. Why isn't he in Violet?]

Mahogany has what is quite possibly the worst selection of souvenirs I've even seen, and that includes the one time when Palom wanted me to choose between a pig and a toad who turned out to be his classmates.

[Why is he in Mahogany? Well, obviously for the badge. How did he even get there? You'd be surprised by the flying speed of a Dragonite. When did he get there? ...Really, really surprised.]

Rosa, Rydia, Kain. Would you rather receive a candy bar, a postcard, or a pair of Magikarp-shaped earrings? Or a fishing rod. They seem to love their fishing rods.

[He starts looking around with little interest in his eyes.]

I'd offer to bring back dinner instead, but by the time I return to Violet it'll certainly be cold. Please don't wait for me if I take too long.

...We've received an invitation, recently. How would you feel about a stay in a seaside city?

A seaside city? I wouldn't mind.

A friend of mine is repairing a house there, to serve as a home for all the people from his world. But most of them are teenagers, so he asked for extra arms.

[And of course Cecil went and volunteered Kain along.]

I'd also been hoping that a relaxed atmosphere would help Rydia make new friends. A city by the sea should have many children with whom she could play.

[Rydia is always a good distraction.]

That's very kind of you, to help your friend.

And I do think friends would do Rydia some good. I know it's been a tough adjustment, with everything.....

...Once we have less to do, perhaps we should see where exactly most groups with young children tend to stay for long periods. A somewhat stable home situation might be beneficial to her.

I've no doubt we can. This world is large, and all of its cities have their good sides.

And you know I'm willing to stay anywhere, as long as everyone else is happy.

Even in the middle of a cave, days away from civilization?

Then how about a deciding body? You could have help with the list, and then use your credentials to make a decision.

Certainly not; neither wild forests nor caves are suitable places for children to live.

Well, Eblan's caves would be, but as far as I know Mt. Mortar and the Dark Cave contain no furnished chambers.

Human friends, at least. Geodudes ans Zubats would be easy enough.

Yet finding non-human friends would be easier. It's a shame most of the children I've met have left Johto.

There's Miss Kisa, though she's in Goldenrod. She undoubtedly has other friends her age, and others can always arrive every week.
