88th moon [action/video]
[Action
Early on the morning of December 15th, a human and an Infernape enter Celadon, looking tired and dirty and generally like they haven't properly taken care of themselves for a few weeks. Still, they'll stop and chat with anyone interested, and in the monkey's case quite possibly flirt with any nearby ladies, Pokémon or human.
But sooner or later, they'll politely take their leave and keep going, until they finally reach their house. There, they'll promptly allow themselves to collapse on the couch, manners be damned. Sorry, teammates and guests]
[Video
Hours later, it's a now clean and fed man that can be seen on the network, still looking more than a little tired.]
Has anyone considered leaving caches of supplies hidden throughout the various caves in both regions, in case of emergencies? If those uncontrollable teleportations keep happening every six months, they'll be needed sooner or later.

The dog turns on a dime and freezes, staring at Cecil and Infernape intently for a few seconds; then, he firmly sits down, lifting his nose and barking loudly. More noises of movement ensue from other rooms as the noise proceeds to awaken every living being in the house (and there are a lot of them).]
[action]
This is obviously an excellent reason to jump on the couch and start yipping excitedly, which has the side effect of interrupting the human and monkey hands that were trying to wave a greeting at their noisy guest. Dogs, seriously.]
[action]
She's followed - finally - by the one human guest currently present in the house, dressed in pajama pants and a plain shirt and clearly fresh out of bed. Walter looks groggy and disheveled but still wary, squinting at the couch from the doorway to the hall.]
...Who're you?
[He's not aware enough to form logical conclusions.]
[action]
Cecil Harvey.
[It comes out a little muffled by the cushions. He'd raise his arm to wave again, but Cosmos the Lilligant just grabbed his arm like it's her favorite teddy bear.]
It's a pleasure to meet you. Would you rather have spicy chicken or meatloaf for dinner tonight? I imagine all the dessert we had in the house has long been eaten, but I can pick up a cake from the bakery later this afternoon.
[See, this is why having the host home is awesome. No more pizza.]
[action]
Walter staggers over to Orthrus and thwaps him lightly on the nose, putting an end to the stream of barking.
Now that it's not too loud to think, he returns to squinting at Cecil, slowly putting the pieces together.]
You're...the owner. [There we go. Any more brilliant deductions to share with the class?] ...You look like you just crawled out of hell.
[And then his brain finally catches up properly, and he blinks and tries that again.] Er...welcome back?
[action]
[He finally manages to crawl out of the poképile in all of his pretty, unbrushed glory. Be glad, Walter, for few people get to see him so unkempt.]
I crawled out of Mt. Mortar, actually. Lovely mountain, but much more pleasant to explore when you have food and Pokémon with you.
[The Infernape tries to protest at that, but as he's still swarmed by his new team it doesn't quite come out clearly.]
I meant Pokémon that could keep you company, Zidane.
[action]
[When Walter comes back, he's dressed and looks less disoriented. He whistles, calling Orthrus and Gertrude away from the teeming crowd of Pokemon to mill around his ankles instead.]
Hoy, um. I'm sorry about that. [He walks into the living room to sit across from Cecil] I'm Walter. Ramza's out traveling for some while, said he was going to meet with a person.
[action]
Well met, Walter. I do hope my team behaved themselves during my absence; I'd hate to think they used the opportunity to be bothersome or rude to you or Ramza.
[And now said team is all staring at Walter with a 'tell him we did great' expression, sometimes with an added 'please' or 'or else'.]
[action]
[action]
I'm glad to hear they behaved themselves. You had the chance to see your home again for a week, then? I hope returning here was not too much of a shock.
[action]
He recovers quickly, though, waving a hand casually while he gets his words back in order.] -Like I'd never been gone!
[action]
[He finally stands up, dislodging a few Pokémon in the process.]
Do you like pancakes? I was thinking of preparing some for breakfast.
[action]
(He's not actually sure what pancakes are.)
Orthrus is starting to give him a Look, so Walter goes to feed him and Gertrude from the bags Ramza keeps in the closet, no doubt attracting some other attention in the process.]
I never heard much about our arrangement with you. How did Ramza come to - down, Orthrus - how did he come into this?
[action]
[Alarmingly, being teleported to distant caves and meeting people that are completely confused has long become everyday Johto/Kanto to him, so he simply walks towards the kitchen to find ingredients as if this conversation was completely normal.
Even more alarmingly, the three Gyarados that are now staring at the food bags from the glass kitchen door are also treated as completely normal.]
He needed space for two people and their teams for the winter. I had space for two people and their teams for the winter. Our needs and availabilities were well meatched.
[action]
Simple as that? What do we owe for board?
[action]
Well, I would appreciate it if you stopped my Pokémon from starting fires in the house if needed...
[action]
[action]
[Hint: The number of Fire-types and the number of Pokémon with Fire-type attacks might not match.]
[action]
Perhaps I'm...being hasty. [And he's adding at least three more to the mix, isn't he...]
[action]
[Mostly. And he just added a new Fire-type to the mix, too.]
[action]
So do you live here all the year 'round?
[action]
[Ah, there's the flour. Who put it behind the cereals?]
